KOTA BARU – A seven-month pregnant woman was found dead with gunshot wounds in a car by the road in Kg Repek, Pasir Mas near here yesterday.

Acting Kelantan police chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said the 26-year-old woman, who is a trader, was found around 4pm in her Nissan Cefiro in the driver seat with gunshot wounds on the left side of her stomach.

He said in a statement that a bullet shell was found behind the driver’s seat, in the rear legroom area.

The police detained a 40-year-old man, who works as a labourer, at 11.25pm in Pasir Mas to facilitate the murder investigation, reported Bernama.

The victim’s body has been sent to Pasir Mas Hospital for post-mortem. – The Vibes, June 5, 2022
